| Help Now | Carbon Monoxide PoisoningThe client is a widower, lives alone, works forty hours per week and has debilitating pain in her back and legs due to a recent carbon monoxide poisoning. The client suffered long term side effects from the poisoning and as a result she has to attend several doctor's appointments per week which reduces her weekly paycheck. The client currently attends the food shelf and other community food support programs but because she works, she is not eligible for financial assistance. The client is asking for $695.65 in order to help her make her rent payment this month.Submitted by: Scott County MCR | Jordan | No | 04/01/2023 | Active | |
| Help Now | Family in Need of Grocery/Gas Gift CardsI’m a case manager who works with an 18-year-old young man living in Jordan Minnesota. He was born with a very rare condition called Vacteryl Syndrome and Ventricular Septal Defect. My client fully relies on his whole family for support, which is why he is still living at home and they help care for his needs. He just graduated from high school and is now attending Normandale Community College. He was able to get this far with the support of his mother and five siblings. This young man’s father is also supportive, but had a stroke a few months ago and is out of work at this time. His family now needs support because their water heater is broken and needs to be replaced. This is a very big cost for this family of 8 to cover. They are looking for financial help through gift cards to help offset the cost of paying for this. Please consider donating gift cards to Target, Hy-Vee, Cub Foods, and Holiday gas station in $20 increments to help them offset the costs during this difficult time. Thanks!Submitted by: Scott County | Jordan | No | 1677542400 | ActiveClosed - CanceledOffers | |

| Help Now | Supplies for art therapyI work with a 40 year old woman who lives with her family in Scott County. She has a brain injury and is living in constant pain due to a car accident she was involved in several years ago. She has attempted to work, but with her pain it’s increasingly difficult to do so, forcing her to stay home. She has always enjoyed creating art; she has a cricut machine that she got several years ago and makes Christmas, Birthday, and other gifts for her family. She shares that creating art helps with her anxiety, depression, and PTSD. However, with the ever-rising costs of living it’s getting increasingly difficult for her to afford these art supplies. We are seeking to get some of these supplies covered in order for her to continue doing what she loves to do for the above stated reasons. Thank you for considering. Below are some of the items that this individual would benefit from, pictures included. 1) Iron on and vinyl sheets for cricut in multiple colors 2) White/black/gray plain shirts and sweatshirts in M, L, and XL for cricut projects 3) Cricut mugs 12oz and 15 oz 4) Diamond Dots 5) Infused Ink that have patterns on them (Lucky Godess water color Infusible Transfers 14 pc 5x12 Lucky Godess red, green, buffalo plaid, santa , snowman 14 pc 4.5x12 6) Cutting matts 12x12 7) Sublimation Tumblers Bulk 20 oz skinny 24 pack 8) Sublimation Tumblers Bulk 20 oz 20 pack 9) Trife Trasfer Sheets 9 pc 12x10 Splash 10)Cricut mug press heat press for mug projects 11) Cricut Explore Deep Cut Blade 12) Cricut maker 3 Smart Cutting Machine 13) 30 pc fine point blades STREWEEK cutting bladesSubmitted by: Scott County | Scott County | No | 01/31/2023 | Active | |

| Help Now | Water HeaterDear Fish Network, I am writing to you today because I am a case manager who works with a young 18 year old man in Jordan Minnesota. This young man just graduated from high school and is now attending Normdale community college. He was able to get this far due to the support of his mother and his five siblings. This young man’s father is also supportive but just had a stroke a few months back, so is out of work to attend physical and occupational therapy. My client fully relies on his whole family for support which is why he is still living at home and they help care for his needs. They support him because he was born with a very rare condition called Vacteryl Syndrome and Ventricular septal Defect. The family now needs support because there water heater is broken and needs to be to be replaced. They had plumber come out and it just needs to be replaced. In order to replace this 50 gallon water heater itself coast $2,400.00. Then the vent or piping on top is older and can cause carbon monoxide so they are requiring everyone to replace them will be an additional $450. This is a very big cost for this family of 8 to cover. Any finical support you could provide to this would be greatly appreciated! I know this is a big request but there are not a lot of programs that will help cover things like water heaters / venting. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.Submitted by: Scott County | Jordan | No | N/A | ActiveOffers | |
| Help Now | Before and After School CareWe have an amazing family at HB that is currently supported by McKinney Vento, a program used to support families that are experiencing homelessness. There are two phenomenal students that are currently attending HB. Parent of the two students has recently gotten a great opportunity and landed a great job. The job requires here to start at 8:00 each day. In order to accommodate the work schedule she needs to drop off her students before school starts and pick them up after the school day ends. We are reaching out to find a partner that could help support the cost of the before and after school cost. Mornings are our greatest priority right now and the cost for that is $1,417. We would love to request am and pm and that cost would be $2,398. Thank you for considering and please call me with any questions. Thank you!!Submitted by: ISD 191 Burnsville-Eagan-Savage | Savage | No | 12/03/2022 | ActiveOffers | |
