Water Heater
Dear Fish Network, I am writing to you today because I am a case manager who works with a young 18 year old man in Jordan Minnesota. This young man just graduated from high school and is now attending Normdale community college. He was able to get this far due to the support of his mother and his five siblings. This young man’s father is also supportive but just had a stroke a few months back, so is out of work to attend physical and occupational therapy. My client fully relies on his whole family for support which is why he is still living at home and they help care for his needs. They support him because he was born with a very rare condition called Vacteryl Syndrome and Ventricular septal Defect. The family now needs support because there water heater is broken and needs to be to be replaced. They had plumber come out and it just needs to be replaced. In order to replace this 50 gallon water heater itself coast $2,400.00. Then the vent or piping on top is older and can cause carbon monoxide so they are requiring everyone to replace them will be an additional $450. This is a very big cost for this family of 8 to cover. Any finical support you could provide to this would be greatly appreciated! I know this is a big request but there are not a lot of programs that will help cover things like water heaters / venting.
