Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
The client is a widower, lives alone, works forty hours per week and has debilitating pain in her back and legs due to a recent carbon monoxide poisoning. The client suffered long term side effects from the poisoning and as a result she has to attend several doctor's appointments per week which reduces her weekly paycheck. The client currently attends the food shelf and other community food support programs but because she works, she is not eligible for financial assistance.
