Help Now | Washing Machine Needed for Family of 5 in New PragueA family of 5 is in desperate need of a washing machine. Their washing machine broke down this past week and the cost of repairs would be more than the machine is worth. Their children are young ages 6, 5, and 1, and a fourth baby is due soon. Work is seasonal for the dad and can be difficult due to PTSD after being in the military.Submitted by: St. Wenceslaus Catholic Parish | New Prague | No | N/A | ActiveFulfilledOffers

Help Now | Funding for extra curricular activitiesI am working with a single mother of 3 children, ages infant, 3, and 7. The mother is currently working and just obtained stable housing which is a huge success for her. This request is for financial help to enroll 2 of her children in extracurricular activities. The 7-year-old would like to patriciate in softball, dance, and yoga. The 3-year-old would like to patriciate in dance and t-ball. The financial support to help get these children into the community to build their social skills would greatly benefit them and provide some respite for this mom. I am working with this mother on a financial budget, which would include future activity costs for her children.Submitted by: Scott County | Scott County | No | 04/28/2023 | ActiveFulfilledOffers

Help Now | Family w/ 6 Children in NeedI’m a case manager who works with a 66-year-old woman in Shakopee who has type 2 diabetes and coronary artery disease. She has recently been having increasingly debilitating health issues and instability. This woman lives with her daughter and her daughter’s 6 grandchildren. Her daughter recently had to quit her full-time job to provide the necessary care and supervision for my client, which has caused financial strain on the family. This has made it difficult for them to afford their rent and continue to have food on the table. Both my client and her daughter do not understand or speak much English and their primary language is Cambodian. Her and her family need support at this time of hardship, given the daughter’s inability to work and provide financial support for her family. They are looking for financial help through gift cards to help face the current financial strain they are facing. Please consider donating gift cards to any Cambodian grocery store near Savage/Shakopee, Target, Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, or Holiday gas station in $20 increments to help them continue to afford rent and cost of living during this difficult time.Submitted by: Scott County | Shakopee | No | 1682812800 | ActiveFulfilledOffers
