Dad trying to get full custody of Daughter

Dad was able to finally exit homelessness almost a year ago. Now that he is stable, he is trying to get full custody of his 11-year-old daughter. Currently his daughter is living with her mother. Unfortunately, her mother is an alcoholic, which is starting to take a toll on his daughter's mental and physical health as well as her education.  My client himself is a recovering alcoholic, he has been sober for over 7 yrs. now, still attends AA meetings and does various hobbies to ensure his sobriety.  He has been the main contact for his daughter's school. Anything that may arise, the school contacts him due to the relationship the daughter and mother currently have. The only thing that he wants is for his daughter to be safe. He has been working over the last few months to try to get fulltime custody of his daughter.  He has been seeking legal help in the process when he has questions about the process or what he needs to complete. However, there is a fee associated with the paperwork that he needs to complete. He currently has a limited income, so he is struggling to get this paid. All paperwork that he will need to complete and send in comes to 60. Once he is able to complete this, he can start the actual legal process.

Special Needs, Special Grandma: Your Support Can Change Their Lives

Good afternoon, I am writing to you on behalf of my client, a devoted grandmother, who has taken on the responsibility of raising her two grandchildren, both under the age of 2 years old, after they were placed in foster care. My client is an incredible woman who has selflessly opened her heart and home to these children, providing them with love, stability, and care. However, she is now facing financial challenges, as she relies solely on her disability social security to make ends meet. Despite her limited resources, she is determined to provide the best possible upbringing for her grandchildren. One of her grandchildren has nonverbal autism, which requires additional support and resources. My client is doing her best to ensure that her grandchild receives necessary treatments, despite the significant strain on her finances. Her grandchild was accepted into Frasier, which will help them both learn more about his diagnosis and the best ways in which they might be supported. My client has a vehicle but hasn't been able to update her registration, now she is unable to bring her grandchildren to their appointments. This has caused a lot of added stress as her grandchild can easily become overstimulated and struggles to ride public transportation safely. Your financial assistance would mean the world to my client and take quite a bit of stress off of her shoulders. Thank you for considering this request and for your compassion towards my client and her grandchildren. Your support is deeply appreciated and will have a lasting impact on their lives.

Veteran in need of storage unit

We need to get a storage unit for a Veteran that has to vacate his apartment. He is moving into a very small efficiency and will not be able to take most of his possessions with him due to lack of space. We are asking for $200 to over the $35.99 unit for 4 months. I understand that we are asking for a bit over what we were quoted which is $144. That is because we are not sure what the taxes and fees are going to be. We are trying to get a 5x5 unit from Self Storage in Chaska.

Developmentally disabled boy and his single mom need help with a U-Haul to move

$150.00 to rent a U-Haul so single mom and her developmentally delayed son can move out of apartment they can't afford due to son's unpredictable medical and behavioral issues causing the mom to lose work and therefor lose hours at work and income. He struggles at school and often the mom has to pick him up early and cannot work as much as she would like to earn more money. She has help with family members offering their assistance in actually moving the items and belongings but cannot afford the U-Haul rental fee of $150.00. She needs to move by the end of April. The actual move is scheduled April 30th, so a rental would need to be arranged by April 29th. Any offer of any amount is greatly appreciated. She has asked her social worker but since the son is a minor, funding is not authorized to be used for this purpose. No program has a remedy for this problem since she wants to move before she is being evicted due to her inability to afford the rent any longer.

Please help support Snickers in her journey to cross the rainbow bridge

Many people have emotional support animals to help with mental health and physical wellness. Any animal owner knows that it is hard and can be heart breaking when they fall ill or get old. I have a client that has 3 cats, they provide comfort when she is in pain with her physical health and when her mental health is preventing her to enjoy life. Snickers (her oldest cat) has been her saving grace for 18 years. She has made it 18 years! Unfortunately, Snickers health is failing due to her age. My client has been dreading having to put her down. She has come to terms and know that it is time to help Snickers suffering. However, my client is on a fixed income and does not have extra funds to cover the procedure. This has been a hindrance since December when we first discussed snickers health decline. This donation would help ease the burden with the financial piece of the process. This process can cost between $ 450 and $500. Any donation would be helpful.

UPDATE: NEED $375.00 FOR "STACKABLE WASHER AND DRYER IS NEEDED!!! Mom was able to find a used stackable washer and dryer on-line with free delivery for only $375.00! She has to take all of the wash to a laundromat, and it is very expensive and time consuming. Her 6-year-old son has an "adjustment disorder" which requires a lot of patience and therapy appointments. She doesn't receive child support and is living on assistance from the county with SNAP, Medical Assistance and does get housing assistance. She recently applied for Energy Assistance from the CAP Agency but can't afford to purchase her own washer and dryer.
