Help Continue Momentum in Recovery Journey

Three men in recovery are transitioning into our long-term transitional housing program after the sober home they were living in unexpectedly announced it was closing, giving residents only 30 days to find new housing. While they are grateful to have a safe place to continue their recovery, they are starting over with very few personal belongings. We are trying to raise $1,500 for the three men so we can help them to purchase bedroom essentials to help welcome them home including bedding, dressers, nightstands, lamps, laundry hampers, and other basic furnishings. A comfortable, furnished bedroom provides more than a place to sleep—it offers stability, dignity, and a fresh start as these men continue rebuilding their lives.

Helping a Mom of Four Stay on the Road

I am currently working with a single mother of three young children who is expecting her fourth child within the next few weeks. She is facing significant transportation challenges and is in urgent need of vehicle repairs to ensure she can safely get to medical appointments, work, childcare, and other essential services. Her vehicle requires a timing belt replacement and a new oil pump, along with several smaller repairs. These are critical issues that affect the safety and reliability of her only means of transportation. With a new baby arriving soon, having dependable transportation is more important than ever for her family's stability and well-being. Any assistance toward these repairs would make a meaningful difference for this family and help alleviate a significant source of stress during an already challenging time. Every contribution, regardless of amount, is greatly appreciated.

HVAC Air Compressor Unit

Replacing our air conditioner compressor is a critical need for family. The cost of replacement is approximately $13,000, which is beyond what I can reasonably afford at this time. I have explored other sources of assistance, including my daughter's CADI Waiver, but unfortunately this expense is not covered through those programs. Despite reaching out to available community supports, I have not been able to secure funding for this necessary repair.

Replacing the salt machine for hard water.

Replacing our home's water treatment system is an important need for our family. Our current salt-based water softener is approximately 11 years old and is nearing the end of its useful life. The system requires ongoing maintenance, including purchasing, lifting, and hauling heavy bags of salt, which has become increasingly difficult to manage. We are seeking to replace the existing system with a non-saltwater treatment system that effectively addresses our home's hard water issues while reducing the physical demands associated with maintaining a traditional salt-based softener. The estimated cost for replacement is approximately $6,000. This need is particularly important because of my daughter's disability. Having a reliable water treatment system helps maintain a safe, functional, and healthy home environment while reducing physical burdens associated with routine household maintenance. I have explored other sources of assistance, including my daughter's CADI Waiver, but this expense is not covered through those programs.
