Help Now | Bigger vehicle needed!Maternal aunt has taken on the immense responsibility of caring for her six nieces and nephews (along with her biological children- 3 of the 6 that live in the home) after a CPS reports led to her becoming their legal guardian. This has been a challenging and rewarding journey for her, but there is one major barrier we are hoping to overcome: transportation. As you can imagine, with this many children in her care, getting everyone to appointments, school, groceries, and other necessities is difficult with the current vehicle. The family cannot all travel together, and this limits their ability to access essential services and opportunities. A larger vehicle would make a world of difference in providing the children with more stability, better access to opportunities, and the ability to function as a cohesive family unit. We are reaching out to ask for donations to help fund a larger vehicle that can safely accommodate the family. Any contribution—no matter how big or small—would have a direct and meaningful impact on the daily lives of the children. It would enable them to move forward with more ease, less stress, and a better chance at thriving in their home environment.Submitted by: Scott County | Shakopee | No | N/A | Closed - Canceled

Help Now | Rental AssistanceAfter years of battling homelessness, this client has finally overcome multiple barriers in order to get approved for a rental unit. She is on the precipice of finally finding stability, but due to confusion over assistance she's been offered previously, will not have help with first month's rent. This client is working and able to sustain rental payments moving forward but thought she would have help covering first month. This assistance for her would mean a future of housing and stability moving forward. The client was able to move back her move-in date while still holding the unit, and can move in 11/15 with the support of $460.Submitted by: Scott County | Scott County | No | 1731628800 | Closed - Canceled
Help Now | Uber Gift Cards To Get To WorkI have a client that has been living in shelters and in tents for the last few months. He will be housed this month in Chaska. He also recently found employment in Jordan and starts October 22nd. My client does not have a valid driver's license. He needs help with transportation from Chaska to Jordan and back again. He currently only has a bike available to him. It will take him about an hour to bike there and back. He will be working 1st shift which means he will be biking in the dark both there and back soon. Not only is that an unsafe option due to traffic issues, but it is also unsafe due to possible bad weather conditions. I am hoping to get him $300 in uber gift cards to get him back and forth for 2 weeks. Uber rides are anywhere between $15 and $30 a ride depending on the day and time. He will be able to pay for his own transportation once he gets his first paycheck.Submitted by: CAP (Scott-Carver-Dakota) | Jordan | No | 10/31/2024 | Closed - Canceled
Help Now | Mortgage Assistance to Help Mother and Children Avoid ForeclosureThe family was able to make arrangements in September to temporarily avoid a forclosure sale on the family's home. As part of that arrangement, the family is required to submit $2858.00 (one month of the house payment) to delay the forclosure sale for a significant period of time, allowing Mom sufficient time to secure permanent housing for her and her children before the forclosure leaves them unhoused.Submitted by: Scott County | Belle Plaine | No | 10/03/2024 | Closed - Canceled
