| Help Now | Veteran in Need of AssistanceI am working with a 33-year-old veteran who recently lost his job. He is a responsible person who doesn't drink or do drugs and is looking for a new job. His search is made more difficult given that he doesn't currently own a vehicle. He would be grateful for whatever assistance that could be provided--including any job leads, even for short-term employment. Any of the following would help cover short-term needs related to rent, food, and transportation expenses: $500 to help with rent. $200 gift cards for groceries. $50 Uber gift card to help get to job interviews. Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided.Submitted by: St. Michael's Catholic Church | Prior Lake | Yes | 11/22/2025 | ActiveOffers | |
| Help Now | Barnes and Noble gift cardThis need is for a 13 year old boy who is a ward of the state and in foster care. He really likes to read books and loves to draw. A gift card to Barnes and Noble would give him the opportunity to choose his own books to read and pick out some fun art supplies. Any donation towards this need is greatly appreciated!Submitted by: Scott County | Scott County | No | 1764460800 | ActiveFulfilledOffers | |

| Help Now | Help a Senior Widow Maintain Her Home and IndependenceI'm reaching out on behalf of a senior widow who lives alone in her home and hopes to continue living there as long as possible. She has her own well and a septic system that needs regular maintenance every 5-6 years. It's now time for her septic tank to be pumped, and the cost is estimated between $675 and $700. This is a necessary expense to keep her home safe and functional, but it's difficult to afford on her limited income. She also helps care for her grandson so that her only daughter can continue working full-time, which makes her contribution to the family invaluable. Currently, there are no local programs that assist with septic system maintenance. Any donation toward this cost would be deeply appreciated and would help her remain in her home, maintaining her independence and security. She took out a home equity loan to help supplement her Social Security - her only income and sold a nice lawn mower to help finance other bills. She is maxing out her credit cards and cannot finance anymore debt. She also uses a cane while inside the home and is having trouble with not having a railing to help guide her up her front steps and on the outside back door to her deck. Installation of these two railings plus materials would be approximately $400.00. This added safeguard will help ensure a prevention of a needless fall which will be harder to recover from should she suffer any injuries. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your kindness and consideration.Submitted by: CAP (Scott-Carver-Dakota) | Savage | No | 1764460800 | ActiveOffers | |
| Help Now | Mom struggling to afford tiresHi everyone we have a mom who is trying to get back on her two feet. She's had several obstacles come along, one of them being unable to afford new tires. She got a quote, and it will about $150 to cover the tires and replacement fee. Getting the tires replaced means she will be able to continue day care in order for her to go to work since she does not have any other babysitters.Submitted by: Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community | Shakopee | No | N/A | Closed - Filled through FISHFulfilledOffers | |

| Help Now | From Car to HomeJust a short time ago, a pregnant mom and her 5-year-old son were living out of their car. Every day she dropped him off at school, went to work, and then at night they both curled up to sleep in the back seat. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we were able to get them into safe housing ❤️ But right now their new apartment is empty, and they need some basic essentials to make it a true home. We’re hoping to bless this family with: $200 Walmart gift card (groceries, household supplies, clothing) $300 Home Depot gift card (basic furniture and home needs) $150 for U-haul to get everything out of storage If you’d like to help give them a fresh start, please consider donating toward these gift cards.Submitted by: Allos Ministries | All Locations | No | 1759104000 | ActiveOffers | |
| Help Now | Urgent help needed for local family with special needs children facing water shut-offA local family in our community is in urgent need of support. They are loving parents to 4 children, 3 of whom have special needs, including one child with seizures, another with autism, and a third child battling a serious lung disease due to have surgery in October. These children are getting services through the county due to their disabilities, and their care requires constant attention, numerous medical appointments, and costly treatment. Over the past three years, the family's property taxes have increased by nearly $1000.00 a month, putting even more strain on their already tight budget. Nearly every dollar they earn goes towards housing costs, electricity, heating, gas for medical transportation, and overwhelming medical bills. The mother works full-time, and the father had to quit his job to care for the children and take them to the numerous medical appointments. When they purchased the home three years ago, they were both working full-time and could afford the house. The eldest and youngest had yet to develop their heinous diseases and the property taxes hadn't increased their monthly payment by a whopping 25%. Their expenses increased while their income decreased. Due to these ongoing challenges, their water bill has gone unpaid and is now scheduled to be shut on October 1st. They are reaching out to our community with a humble request for assistance to help cover this water bill -something most of us take for granted but is absolutely essential for this family's well-being. If you are able to help in any way - big or small - your generosity would mean the world to them. Every donation will go directly toward keeping water running in their home and providing their children with the safe, stable environment they desperately need. Their one-parent gross income makes them ineligible for most governmental programs, thus seeking alternative resources. Moving from their home may become a necessity but disrupting their surroundings will be difficult. After the youngest has lung surgery, this may become their only option. Thank you for any support you can offer.Submitted by: CAP (Scott-Carver-Dakota) | Prior Lake | Yes | 1759190400 | Closed - Filled through FISHOffers | |
