Due to high monthly rent and ongoing living expenses, he is struggling to cover the cost of renewing his vehicle tabs, which expire on September 30, 2026. For this individual, his vehicle is more than just transportation. It represents one of the few forms of independence he still maintains. Being able to drive allows him to attend appointments, access necessities, and remain connected to his community. The cost to renew his tabs is $178.25, and unfortunately, this expense is beyond his current financial means. We are seeking any assistance, donations, or community support that may help cover this cost and allow him to maintain his mobility and independence. Help Now	Single Mom Heading to School- Gas Cards Needed! I have a 24-year-old single mother that has been in a CAP Agency housing program for a few years now. She is a survivor of domestic violence that left her with a traumatic brain injury; her daughter has recently been going through evaluations for behavioral health, and she is struggling to keep her head up. Over the summer she removed some toxic people from her life and spent some time reflecting and clearing her mind. She decided that she really wants to be an esthetician. She started looking into schools and landed on one in Bloomington. She applied for the school, filled out the FAFSA, and ultimately was accepted. She is on a VERY limited budget and is in need of some gas cards to get her going. She is currently receiving MFIP benefits and will eventually get reimbursed for her mileage to and from school, but she needs to get to school first! Attendance at school is very important and this is a huge worry for her. We are hoping to obtain a gas card for client to get her by until she can get any type of county reimbursement. Her commute to and from school is 15 miles each way, and she will also need to pick up and drop off her daughter at daycare (a slight detour).
