✨ Back-to-School Need: Clothing & Shoes for Two Teen Boys ✨

We are hoping to help meet the needs of two teenage boys as they head back to school. These young men have faced a lot of challenges in their lives—their father has not been present since they were young, and their mom has struggled with addiction and instability. Despite it all, they continue to push forward, and we’d love to provide them with the basic essentials they need to start this school year with confidence. 👕 Need: School clothing & shoes for both boys -adult size 📚 Goal: Help them feel prepared and cared for as they enter a new school year

URGENT NEED – POWER SHUTOFF

A single mom in our employment program is currently without electricity. She’s behind on her electric bill and today her power was shut off. 💡 She owes $710.63 in past-due charges, plus a $100 reconnect fee, for a total of $810.63. This mom is working hard to care for her kid, and losing power in this heat is dangerous and overwhelming. We’re trying to help restore her electricity as quickly as possible.

Man Has Chance to Reunite with Child

We’re working with a man in our recovery and housing program who hasn’t been able to see his daughter in over two years while he’s been courageously working on his personal healing and rebuilding his life. He just got the green light to visit — a huge milestone — and we’re hoping to help him make the trip happen. We need $139.99 for a round-trip bus ticket so he can reunite with his kids.

Struggling During Medical FMLA — Kindly Asking for Support with Bills

She is currently out on medical FMLA from her job with USPS after undergoing surgery on her heel and Achilles tendon. The recovery has been more difficult and taken longer than expected. Unfortunately, USPS does not provide short-term disability, and she has now exhausted all her available leave. Without any current income, she has fallen behind on essential bills and is doing her best to hold on while she heals. She is expected to return to work next month, but right now, she’s facing a tough gap and could really use a helping hand. These are the bills she’s struggling to cover

Single Mom Needs New Matress

We’re helping a single mom who is in need of a new queen-size mattress. The one she currently has is old and worn, making it difficult for her to get a good night’s sleep. A quality mattress would make a big difference in her rest and overall well-being as she continues working toward stability.

Help a Dad Spend Spring Break with His Kids!

One of the men in our program has been working hard to rebuild his life and strengthen his relationship with his children. Because of his progress, he now has the incredible opportunity to spend the entire spring break with them! However, since he currently lives in a group home, he isn’t able to have his kids stay overnight. We want to get him a hotel for the week so he can make the most of this special time with them. We found a place where they could spend some time together and utilize the swimming pool for $400 for the four nights over spring break.

Helping a Domestic Abuse Survivor Her Children Start Over

This weekend, we received a request for help for a young family in Shakopee going through an incredibly difficult time. The mother, a survivor of severe domestic abuse, is starting over with her children after years of trauma. Due to the situation, their previous home became very cluttered and full and is now being cleared out. While they have received generous donations of new furniture, the children still need clothing and other items, as a lot of what they had was thrown away. We are hoping to rally support to provide this family with the essentials to help them transition into this new chapter with comfort and stability. Any contribution—big or small—can make a meaningful difference in their healing process. If you’re able to help or would like more details, please reach out. Thank you for your kindness and generosity!
