Bedding, Towels, and Clothing for Children Needed

A mom and her 3 daughters are trying to rebuild their lives after escaping a terrible domestic violence situation. There are so many obstacles to overcome, and the mom is doing everything she can to get back on her feet. All 3 of the children need clothing. The oldest child is going to school with her shoes taped up due to all the holes in them. They are also in need of towels and wash clothes and bedding. Most of what they have, contain tears and rips due to past violent incidents. The sizes of the girls are shown below. Temporary Housing After a House Fire

A family is in need of short term housing after a house fire. This family is currently being housed in a hotel until June. The child is really struggling with this new living arrangement and doesn’t want to leave school because the child hates living in a one room hotel room. . They have insurance money for rent, they just need to find a better living situation. Domestic Violence Crisis

We just spoke with a woman that is dealing with a multitude of pain and trauma! She is in the middle of going through a domestic violence situation and has learned that her husband hasn't paid a bill for over a year. Because of their family dynamic the children are also dealing with so much trauma and one of them tried to commit suicide at school this week. The garbage bill hasn't been paid and is piling up against the house, and her cell phone is going to be shut off at the end of the day. This woman has the weight of the world on her shoulders and needs help!! After speaking with her, the cell phone bill is the most critical right now. This phone is so important because she has applied for jobs, but if her cell phone is disconnected, she will have no way to communicate with any protentional employment. This cell phone is her lifeline to so many other things as well. She needs to be able to communicate with the school regarding her kids and their mental health. Being able to keep her phone on will help her have peace of mind that she still has a tool to help get her back on her feet. She wants a job, she wants to be able to help her suffering children, and she wants to be able to pay her bills! Here is the breakdown of what is owed today. Women’s Broken Truck Repair

Single woman struggling to pay for the necessities of life. She has a truck and has to have access to it to drive to her job so that she can maintain her livelihood. Gas leak will be costly!

The smell of gas was detected and after the gas company came to the home it was determined that there was a leak and the gas was shut off. This family now needs to call a plumber to fix the leak. The estimate for the repair is $400.00, which will have to be paid from the families grocery budget for the month. They are currently living with no heat or hot water since the gas has been shut off, and they will not be able to use their furnace and hot water heater until the gas leak has been fixed.

Homeless man and two kids moving out of hotel!

A homeless man and his two kids who are currently homeless and staying in a small hotel room have been accepted into a two bedroom apartment. They received a house full of furniture donated and are seeking help to cover the $185 uhual charge to transport everything to their new home!

A woman's home burnt down last night in Prior Lake. She has nothing, not even clothes she can wear. She is looking for help for clothes. Size 8 shoes or boots, size 10 pants and size Large shirts. Father of 2 in need of Christmas Gifts

A father of 2 (7&9), who has worked really hard at getting sober and now working a full time job, needs help with getting Christmas gifts for his kids this year. In the years past he wasn't always present for his children due to his addiction but after completing the Teen Challenge program, he is a new creation and trying very hard to be a good father. He thankfully is employed full time, but funds are tight. Any help would be appreciated.

Single mom Christmas help

Newly out of homelessness, single mom of 3 who works full time and is fully off of assistance, is living pay check to pay check to pay all her own bills, provide for her daughters, and help with her late husbands medically challenged mother. This lady has beat the odds. She has been sober for 4 years, and has built a life for her children even in the darkest moments of her husbands suicide 6 years ago. This year she needs a little help getting her teen girls a couple gifts. She was hoping for a couple of gift cards so she could go out and pick out her daughters gifts. She said Target, Walmart or Amazon would be great but is open to anything. Thank you!
