Back-to-School Clothing & Shoes for Single-Dad Family of 5

We are supporting a single dad raising 5 children. While we are currently helping the family secure school supplies and work through past-due household bills, the kids are in genuine need of a fresh start for the upcoming school year. Balancing everything alone is a huge task, and Dad could truly use a helping hand to provide his children with new clothes and shoes for school. Any support to help give this family a strong start to the year would be deeply appreciated. Thanks!

Help a Young Student Start the School Year with Confidence

We are working with a single mom of 4 who is facing eviction proceedings while supporting four children on a single income. This has created an immense burden for this family. While we are helping them navigate the past-due rent, one of the daughters is starting school soon and urgently needs new clothes and shoes. A contribution of $250 will allow her to go shopping for the clothes and shoes she needs for the upcoming school year. Anything is appreciated!

Single mom seeking temporary shelter

Hi everyone. I'm reaching out to ask for help with a few nights hotel stay for a single mom and her two kids. She is currently homeless and temporarily staying with her mom but she is only allowed to stay a few nights, per her mom's apartment lease. Mom has been working hard to try to find a shelter with a Scott county housing coordinator but has had no luck.

Helping a Mom Get Ready for Her New Arrival

I am working with a single mother of three young children who is expecting her fourth child in just a few weeks. She has worked incredibly hard to provide for her family and is currently facing significant financial challenges as she prepares to welcome her new baby. At the same time, she is dealing with costly vehicle repairs that are necessary to maintain reliable transportation for work, medical appointments, childcare, and everyday needs. As a result, much of her available income is being directed toward keeping her vehicle on the road. To help ease some of the financial burden during this important transition, Target gift cards and grocery gift cards would be especially beneficial. These resources would allow her to purchase baby essentials, household necessities, diapers, wipes, clothing, and groceries while focusing her limited funds on her transportation needs. Any support, no matter the amount, would make a meaningful difference for this family as they prepare to welcome their newest addition. Thank you for helping provide stability and support during this exciting and challenging time.

She is facing significant transportation challenges and is in urgent need of vehicle repairs to ensure she can safely get to medical appointments, work, childcare, and other essential services. Her vehicle requires a timing belt replacement and a new oil pump, along with several smaller repairs. These are critical issues that affect the safety and reliability of her only means of transportation. With a new baby arriving soon, having dependable transportation is more important than ever for her family's stability and well-being. Any assistance toward these repairs would make a meaningful difference for this family and help alleviate a significant source of stress during an already challenging time.
