Sudden death of mother leaves choice of funeral cost or rent

We have been working with a young man for the last 2.5 years, he started as a homeless drug addict but has been sober and advancing in his career since the second day he started with Allos. He has a good full time job and his a place to live. Late last week his mom stood up from the couch and fell over and was rushed to the hospital, where she unfortunately passed. They think it may have been a blood clot. The cost of cremation and the urn are already over $1,000. These traumatic situations can be triggering for people in recovery. We are trying to help him raise as much as possible so he can pay for all costs associated with his loss and not miss his rent payment and have to stress about finances during this difficult time.

Restitution needed to avoid jail time!

We have been working with a single mom of 3 for about two years now. She has been employed with us at our restaurant and is reliable and hardworking. She also volunteers within our ministry and does everything she can to come along side those with similar, difficult pasts. She has a history (that she is well past) but still owes $682.50 in restitution. She has been making payments but with the cost of living going up she has not been able to afford her last few payments. She is now being violated on her probation and risks going to jail and loosing all of her progress if she can not get this paid off. Anything helps!

Family of 7 is up for eviction

A mom, dad and 5 kids ages 4-19 are experiencing homelessness and currently living in a hotel. They are $900 behind on their dues for the hotel and are being told to leave if that can’t pay it by the end of December. Both of the parents work for us at our restaurant while we try to find them permanent housing but their car broke down so they are unable to work at their normal capacity in taking deliveries until we can fix their car so they have fallen behind on their normal income and bills.
