Full‑Size Bedding for an Elderly Disabled Man in Belle Plaine

We are reaching out on behalf of an elderly disabled gentleman in Belle Plaine who is in need of full‑size bedding. He is on a very limited income and is unable to purchase these items on his own. Items Needed - Full‑size sheet set - Full‑size comforter or blanket - Full‑size mattress protector - Two pillows (optional but helpful) He is not picky about colors or patterns — anything clean and in good condition would make a meaningful difference. If you have new or gently used items to donate, or know of a resource that may help, please reach out. Your kindness directly supports his comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. Thank you for helping us care for our community, one day at a time.

Large safe for safety

I am reaching out on behalf of a family I support to request assistance in improving safety within their home. The family is working toward purchasing a large secure safe that will allow them to properly store and lock away potentially hazardous items. This safe will be used to securely store sharps, medications, and other items that could pose a risk if left accessible. Having a reliable and durable safe will significantly reduce the chance of accidental injury and help create a safer living environment for everyone in the household. I am kindly asking for donations on their behalf to help reach this goal. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would make a meaningful difference and bring them closer to creating a safer space in their home.

Single Mom needing support

A local single mom in our community could really use some support this month. She works full-time and is raising a teenage son on her own. Often needing to take time off to meet her son’s needs, which has made it hard to keep up with bills. She is currently behind on March rent and is hoping to get some assistance catching up so she can stabilize and begin paying down credit card debt that built up after relocating from to MN to escape an abusive relationship and start over safely. She’s working hard to rebuild and provide for her son, and any help—big or small—would make a meaningful difference right now. If you’re able to contribute or know of resources that might help with past-due rent, please reach out. Thank you for supporting a hardworking mom who is doing her best to create a safe, stable life for her child.

Young Family in Need

I am writing to request rental assistance for a local family with a newborn and a preschooler. The family is currently $600 short of their $1,700 rent for March. While they were able to secure $1,100, an income loss earlier this month has left them unable to cover the remaining balance. Having barely managed their expenses last month, they are now in urgent need of support to maintain their housing. Thank you for your time and for considering this request.
