Help Now	Car Assistance I am working with a single dad and his three daughters that live in Jordan. The three daughters have a variety of mental health and developmental disabilities that require the dad to be available for appointments, doctor visits, therapy needs. Dad is trying is very best to meet all of the children's needs plus his own needs. Work has been hard to come by as the unpredictable needs of his daughters. The Dad currently has a truck that needs to be towed and evaluated by a mechanic to determine what needs to be fixed and if it is even able to be fixed. The dad currently has no transportation for him and his family, which requires them to walk every where for groceries and other house hold items. For the one daughter this becomes hard if it is too far due to her physical and developmental delays. The dad has been able to maintain his sobriety for 18 months and trying to provide the bare minimum for his children. If anyone is able to help with towing the vehicle and having a mechanic complete a diagnostic assessment on the vehicle it would be so helpful for this family! There are so many obstacles to overcome, and the mom is doing everything she can to get back on her feet. All 3 of the children need clothing. Help Now	Developmentally disabled boy and his single mom need help with a U-Haul to move $150.00 to rent a U-Haul so single mom and her developmentally delayed son can move out of apartment they can't afford due to son's unpredictable medical and behavioral issues causing the mom to lose work and therefor lose hours at work and income. He struggles at school and often the mom has to pick him up early and cannot work as much as she would like to earn more money. She has help with family members offering their assistance in actually moving the items and belongings but cannot afford the U-Haul rental fee of $150.00. She needs to move by the end of April. The actual move is scheduled April 30th, so a rental would need to be arranged by April 29th. Any offer of any amount is greatly appreciated. She has asked her social worker but since the son is a minor, funding is not authorized to be used for this purpose. No program has a remedy for this problem since she wants to move before she is being evicted due to her inability to afford the rent any longer. She's had a serious of unfortunate circumstances and while there are a lot of people working to help this family get settled, they still have a lot of needs. Right now this mom needs a battery for her car. She got a quote for a $255 for a new battery. Her current income is only $500 from a SSI benefit due to the death of a loved one.
