| Help Now | THEY DID THE WORK — HELP US GET THEM HOMEWe have two men who have been doing awesome! They’ve gone through our program, secured full-time employment (and maintained that employment for 3 years), and have been working hard toward getting a place of their own. Because of felonies that are now 4+ years old, finding housing has been a long road. We finally found a landlord willing to give them a chance, and they’ve been approved for a 2-bedroom townhome together! They’ve worked hard and saved $5,000 on their own, but because of their backgrounds, the landlord is requiring first month, last month, and a security deposit. We’re looking to raise the final $1,500 to get them into their new home! 🏠 Any amount helps us get them across the finish line!Submitted by: Allos Ministries | All Locations | No | 1785456000 | Active | |

| Help Now | Safety Equipment for Young Man in ShakopeeRequesting grab bars for a young man in Shakopee who has trouble with balance and stability, particularly in the bathroom where wet and slippery surfaces increase his risk of falling. Showering has become a challenging task, and he often needs to move cautiously to avoid losing his balance. Having grab bars in his shower would provide him with the support he needs to enter, exit, and move within the shower safely. These grab bars would allow him to maintain his independence with personal hygiene while reducing his reliance on others for assistance. They would also provide peace of mind for both the individual and his caregivers, knowing that he has a secure handhold available when needed. This young man is experiencing significant financial hardship and is unable to afford the purchase of grab bars for his home. Nearly all of his income is dedicated to paying rent and meeting basic living expenses. While grab bars would greatly improve safety and reduce the risk of falls, the client’s limited financial resources mean he is unable to purchase them himself. Given the client's past housing instability and ongoing financial challenges, assistance with purchasing grab bars is needed to support his safety and independence. Without grab bars, he remains at risk for slips and falls that could potentially require medical treatment and result in serious injuries. A fall could also reduce his confidence in completing personal care tasks independently and his overall quality of life. For these reasons, shower grab bars are being requested to ensure this gentleman's safety, support his independence, and allow him to continue performing daily hygiene activities with dignity in his home. Thank you for your consideration!Submitted by: Mt. Olivet Rolling Acres | Shakopee | No | N/A | ActiveFulfilledOffers | |
| Help Now | Laptop for educational purposesI am requesting consideration for the donation of a laptop for a single mother who is currently pursuing higher education while maintaining her recovery from substance use disorder. She has demonstrated a strong commitment to rebuilding her life through sustained sobriety, active participation in treatment and recovery services, and dedication to creating a stable future for herself and her daughter. As she prepares to begin college, access to a reliable laptop is essential for completing coursework, attending online classes, conducting research, communicating with instructors, and fulfilling academic requirements. As a single parent, she faces significant financial challenges while balancing the responsibilities of parenting, work, recovery, and education. Purchasing a computer is currently beyond her financial means, creating a barrier to achieving her educational and career goals. A donated laptop would provide more than just access to technology—it would be an investment in her long-term success, independence, and continued recovery. Education is a protective factor that supports financial stability, self-sufficiency, and sustained sobriety, allowing her to build a healthier future for herself and her family. Your generosity would help remove a significant obstacle and provide her with the tools needed to succeed academically while continuing the positive progress she has made in recovery. Thank you for considering this request and for supporting individuals who are working diligently to transform their lives through education and recovery.Submitted by: Havens of MN | Shakopee | No | 1787961600 | Active | |

| Help Now | Simple Need Can Change EverythingToday we’re looking for two donated dishwashers or the funds to purchase dishwashers for two incredible families who are rebuilding their lives. 🏡 Family #1: A single mom with three children who has overcome homelessness and addiction. She’s working hard to create a stable, healthy home where her kids can thrive. 🏡 Family #2: A couple with one child who also came out of homelessness and addiction. They’ve worked incredibly hard for this fresh start and are building a new future together. Something as simple as a working dishwasher may seem small, but for families balancing work, recovery, parenting, and rebuilding their lives, it can make a real difference in reducing stress and helping their homes function well. If you have a working dishwasher you’re replacing or know someone who does, we’d love to give it a second life in a home where it will be deeply appreciated. If you’re able to donate we are trying to raise $800 total—we’re helping families build lasting homes and brighter futures. ❤️Submitted by: Allos Ministries | All Locations | No | 1784160000 | Active | |
