| Help Now | Help with apartment application feeI am currently working with a single mother and her four children. She is looking for new housing for herself and her kids and has identified a wonderful apartment that would be close to her extended family. She has recently lost daily parenting support from the kids' father and therefore has been forced to quit her job to take care of the kids full time. The agency is working with her to establish childcare so she can go back to work, but in the meantime finances have been a struggle. We are asking for help in covering her $40 application fee for the apartment she has found. Any help is so appreciated!!Submitted by: Scott County | Savage | No | N/A | Closed - Filled through FISHFulfilledOffers | |
| Help Now | A Heartfelt Plea: Help Provide a Peaceful Goodbye to an Emotional Support DogI am writing to you on behalf of my client. She has a senior emotional support dog who has been by her side for over a decade, helping her through everything she experienced, both the good and the bad. Unfortunately, her dog's health has been deteriorating over the last month and my client believes she will need to be put down within a week. My client doesn't have wiggle room in her budget and is very worried about her ability to finance end of life services for her emotional support dog. I would like to help take some stress off her plate by helping her pay for humane euthanasia, as well as a footprint as a keepsake to help her in her grief. I have priced the end-of-life services at Mission Animal Hospital at $300. The end-of-life services this price includes is the final exam, cremation with ashes returned, 2 ink paw prints, and 1 clay paw print when ashes are picked up. My client's emotional support dog is more than a pet or helper but is truly her closest family member. Her dog is her confidant, her closest companion, her most steadfast friend. My client would be extremely appreciative of this financial assistance to give her dog humane end-of-life services.Submitted by: FISH | All Locations | No | 1717804800 | Closed - Filled through FISHFulfilledOffers | |

| Help Now | Special Needs, Special Grandma: Your Support Can Change Their LivesGood afternoon, I am writing to you on behalf of my client, a devoted grandmother, who has taken on the responsibility of raising her two grandchildren, both under the age of 2 years old, after they were placed in foster care. My client is an incredible woman who has selflessly opened her heart and home to these children, providing them with love, stability, and care. However, she is now facing financial challenges, as she relies solely on her disability social security to make ends meet. Despite her limited resources, she is determined to provide the best possible upbringing for her grandchildren. One of her grandchildren has nonverbal autism, which requires additional support and resources. My client is doing her best to ensure that her grandchild receives necessary treatments, despite the significant strain on her finances. Her grandchild was accepted into Frasier, which will help them both learn more about his diagnosis and the best ways in which they might be supported. My client has a vehicle but hasn't been able to update her registration, now she is unable to bring her grandchildren to their appointments. This has caused a lot of added stress as her grandchild can easily become overstimulated and struggles to ride public transportation safely. Your financial assistance would mean the world to my client and take quite a bit of stress off of her shoulders. Thank you for considering this request and for your compassion towards my client and her grandchildren. Your support is deeply appreciated and will have a lasting impact on their lives.Submitted by: CAP (Scott-Carver-Dakota) | All Locations | No | N/A | Closed - Filled through FISHFulfilledOffers | |
| Help Now | Aquatic Fun in the Sun!Summer 2024 Belle Plaine Aquatic Center Season Pass for Family of 3 - $150 I have been working with this Belle Plaine family for over a year now. The family has limited income and limited transportation. Their 4 year old daughter loves water play and getting the opportunity to go to the aquatic center that is within walking distance. She has developmental delays and is in ECSE during the school year, however classes stop for the summer. To help with maintaining routines and continued work on gross motor skills, Mom is hoping to bring her to the aquatic center 3 times per week (which would cost well over $400 if paying per session); Dad is hoping to join once a week on his one day off from work. Any amount towards this swim pass will be so helpful to this family and to making a little girl’s summer a blast!Submitted by: Scott County | Belle Plaine | No | 1717113600 | Closed - Filled through FISHFulfilledOffers | |

| Help Now | Restitution needed to avoid jail time!We have been working with a single mom of 3 for about two years now. She has been employed with us at our restaurant and is reliable and hardworking. She also volunteers within our ministry and does everything she can to come along side those with similar, difficult pasts. She has a history (that she is well past) but still owes $682.50 in restitution. She has been making payments but with the cost of living going up she has not been able to afford her last few payments. She is now being violated on her probation and risks going to jail and loosing all of her progress if she can not get this paid off. Anything helps!Submitted by: Allos Ministries | All Locations | No | 1707868800 | Closed - Filled through FISHFulfilledOffers | |
