Past due Rent Help

I have a client that is needing help with a past due balance in rent. She and her son are on a fixed income and have been splitting the monthly rent each month. They were short $48 for the month of January and were just made aware of it recently. They are barely making it through the month. Anything helps.

Make rent before late fee!

UPDATE: We had one FISH donation and mom is working on securing a second job. The need has dropped to $600. We are hopeful to keep this family of 4 in their home. Hello FISH Network! I am a case manager working with a single mother who is seeking assistance with $1,000 toward her rent. This mother is raising three young boys and is actively taking steps to improve her family's financial stability. She recently secured part-time employment and is currently pursuing a second job to increase her household income. In addition, she is engaged with supportive services and working closely with community resources to address barriers and strengthen her family's long-term stability. The requested assistance will help prevent further housing instability while she continues to build financial independence and increase her earnings. This family is committed to making positive changes and any contribution toward this rent need would provide meaningful support and help ensure that the family can remain safely housed. Thank you for considering this request and for supporting families in our community during times of need.

Gas Card Needed for Employment Support During Outpatient Treatment

The individual is currently engaged in outpatient treatment and is actively committed to rebuilding stability in his life. He has recently secured employment, which represents a significant positive step toward independence and recovery. However, transportation barriers are currently impacting his ability to reliably get to and from work. Providing temporary assistance with gas cards will help bridge this gap while he becomes financially stable through his new employment. He is motivated, engaged in treatment, and working toward long-term self-sufficiency. Once consistent paychecks are established, he will be able to maintain his transportation needs independently. Any donation, small or large, would make a meaningful difference in helping this individual maintain employment and continue building stability in his recovery.

Vulnerable adult that has been scammed out of all of his money needs help paying a phone bill

A vulnerable adult in our community has been repeatedly targeted by scammers who have taken money from him. He is now in a position where we are implementing protective measures, but he will not be able to access any of his Social Security funds for two months until these protections are secured. Due to the scams, he has fallen behind on many of his bills, lost his vehicle, and now has an outstanding bill of $119 with Comcast/Xfinity that he cannot afford to pay. This bill is for his cell phone. He relies on his cell phone daily, and without it, he feels cut off from the world, especially since he has no vehicle and no way to leave his home.

Carseat

I am the Saint Francis Regional Medical Emergency Department Social Worker. I have a mom and child in the emergency room after experiencing domestic violence. The child needs a toddler car seat - like a "all in one" convertable car seat. Still needs to be able to be backward facing but also if could transition to forward facing as the child grows that would be ideal. Car seat should weight range from like 20-40 pounds preferred or larger range would be even better.

Support for a Local Shakopee Family After Infant Loss Over the Weekend

Over the weekend, a local Shakopee family heartbreakingly lost their infant to SIDS. As they begin navigating unimaginable grief, funeral arrangements, and the trauma of returning to their apartment after this tragic loss, we are hoping to help provide a hotel stay for the family for one week so they have a safe space to grieve and begin healing. During times like these, even small acts of support can make a tremendous difference for a family carrying such overwhelming heartbreak.

gas card

A young adult recently lost their primary caregiver unexpectedly late March. This has led to her not being able to work and caring for her two younger brothers. She has been driving her brothers to school and running necessary errands. This family is struggling to make ends meet financially right now. The young adult will start a new job the end of this week. She is in need of gas money in the interim until she gets a paycheck. Holiday is the closest gas station to their home.
