A single mother of a severely disabled 8 1/2 year old daughter, along with a 5 year old autistic daughter is in need of financial assistance with her Excel Energy bill. The 8 1/2 year old was hospitalized from Dec-April resulting in her social security benefit being withheld. Social Security along with child support is this mother's only form of income as she must stay home to provide the 24 hour care that her daughters need. She was able to work with social services to get half of the $800 past-due amount taken care of but is still in need of approximately $400 to get caught up.
