Car Help for Young hard working man

The young man who needs help with his car is truly a story of how hard work turns in to success. He overcame homelessness and a crippling heroin addiction and has worked his way up in his job to manager. He was able to purchase his first car in December, but unfortunately, it is an older vehicle and the source he bought it from "jimmy rigged" it to keep it running and wasn't honest about it. He was hit with a huge car bill of $1000 which could be a major set back for this guy. Any little bit helps.

He was giving 2 work shirts when he started his new job and wears the shirts every day since that is all he has. Meet Windy! She is a Springer mix with a heart of gold and overflows with love and energy. She and her owner enjoy daily walks, retrieving in the near by wildlife refuge and being together. Both Windy and her owner have been through challenges in their past and have been able to help each other heal from divorce, abandonment, health issues, and high anxiety. Unfortunately a very large growth has appeared on Windy's stomach and threatens their new found friendship and secure life. The vet has estimated the total cost for the tumor removal will be $1600, and her owner would also like to have her spayed for $450 so the possibility of new growths will be lessened. Her owner has been working 2 jobs to make ends meet but due to the increased high cost of living has not been able to save the money quick enough to have the emergency surgery Windy needs. Her surgery is scheduled for the 27th of February.

4 year old girl headed to foster care needs new things

A family in Shakopee is taking in a 4 year old girl whose mom has made the choice to go to a year long treatment program to heal from a life of a drug addiction. Unfortunately, the home the 4 year old is coming from had meth in it and the foster family would like to get the little girl all new clothing, shoes, bedding and toys since meth sticks to everything. We helped the family make a Target registry of some stuff for the little girl to make it easy to help support them. The family is also requesting gift cards to Target or Kohls to help with groceries, spring/summer clothes and all other things that may come up. https://www.target.com/gift-registry/gift/fostergirlnewstart
