Help Now | Single mother of a young boy is fortunate enough to own her home in Shakopee, hoFunds to help cover costs of a total roof replacement OR perhaps donated labor/materials by a professional. My client and I have explored other options, many of which would require that she take out loans. She is avoiding loans at all costs as she is struggling financially each month as it is. It's possible that a Habitat for Humanity program called "A Brush with Kindness" may be able to assist my client with the cost of the shingles. They are unable to assist with the labor costs or labor itself. She is currently in the application process with this program.l.Submitted by: CAP (Scott-Carver-Dakota) | Shakopee | Yes | N/A | Completed

Help Now | Received free pods in her food shelf package and would like to use them but doesUpdate: This lady could still use a Keurig coffee brewer. Senior I am working with in the Chore Program has indicated she gets coffee, cocoa, and tea ?pods? that have the Keurig name brand on them free from our food shelf but has no such coffee maker to use them! She has opened them up and mixed the contents with hot water but it doesn?t produce the product as successfully as it would be with the right amount of water, heat and ?frothing.? This is a minor request so if anyone has a used Keurig machine that takes these pods, it would be very much appreciated! I thought if someone had an old machine they aren?t using anymore, she could sure use it! She thinks her Cadi-waiver social worker will be able to find her some bed springs for her single bed so we will hold off on that request for now.Submitted by: CAP (Scott-Carver-Dakota) | Prior Lake | Yes | N/A | Completed
