What caused this need?

I am working with a single mother with 4 children who was a victim of domestic assault. The person that committed the assault is in jail but he has said he will find her when he gets out. He already has figured out where she is presently living. She is living in fear and feels life will be safer if she can just move out of Minnesota and closer to family. This client has a brother in the South and he can come up in July and help her move down to where he lives. In addition, we have contacted a Domestic Abuse program in the area where she will be going and they have a place where she and her children can stay. She is on a fixed income and does not have the financial resources to save all the money needed to move. She has saved $600 but with the one way rental for the U-haul, gas money and incidental expenses for the trip she will need about $1000. Any gift cards for gas or general gift cards to pay for the U-Haul would be greatly appreciated.
