UPDATE - STILL NEEDED: 1) Financial assistance paying for a storage unit. Client needed to rent a storage unit after becoming homeless in January, 2016. The storage unit is approximately 70.00/month. 2) Donation of an inexpensive vehicle as a way of transportation to appointments. Client also has a strong desire to start employment at a local business where she is staying (15 miles away from where she is currently ?sleeping?), however, there is no transportation near her, making it difficult for her to be mobile at all. Regardless of all of the struggles she faces on a daily basis, she never fails to put a smile on your face!

UPDATE: WE NEED MORE GROUP VOLUNTEERS ON THE FIRST AND SECOND SUNDAYS OF EACH MONTH AT OUR NEW LOCATION! Volunteers are needed at our Day Center, located at Shepherd of the Hill Church, 145 Engler Blvd.Chaska, MN 55318 Phone: 952-230-2930. We would welcome individuals, families, groups, or congregations to volunteer with us. We find that volunteers who can commit to a regular schedule each week or month better establish supportive relationships with our families. We are seeking volunteers for the following shifts: ? Sundays, 8am ? Noon ? Sundays, Noon ? 4pm ? Weekdays, as needed (4 hour shifts during the day) Volunteers help coordinate with families as they come and go, and we encourage volunteers to plan activities for the children in the program. Local working family that is caring for grandchild, has waged a war against a lice infestation in their apartment. Professional exterminator contacted to heat treat the apartment but family unlikely able to stay in apartment until that happens. I am working with a family that includes a mom, her boyfriend, and her six year

Car repairs for a 1996 Nissan Maxima; the repairs needed are front brakes, rotors, axle, and struts. It would also be helpful to have an honest person look at the car and see what is really needed. They family is also in need of winter clothing. The six year old boy is in need of hat, gloves, snow pants (size 6), and boots size 1.
