Help Now	From Freezing in the car to Safe at Opportunity Home A formerly homeless individual who was sleeping in their car is now employed and living in an Allos Opportunity Home. This will be his first week in a warm bed with a roof over his head. A trauma in his life caused him to be homeless but he is on the right path back to normalcy. We want to make him feel at home and he doesn't have much to his name. We are building him a welcome home basket with queen size bedding, bathroom essentials, and some other basic household needs. Help Now	Homeless, Depressed and in need of our Help! We have a young man who became homeless because of a recent trauma in his life. This Trauma caused him severe anxiety and depression to the point where he could not function and was unable to maintain his lease agreement. This 25 year old was doing well in life up to this point. He did not know how to deal with the trauma which sent him spiraling. He is now in counseling and has the right support system in place to get back on track. He has been doing landscaping and we are giving him a job at one of our restaurants now that it is getting cold outside and the landscaping season is coming to an end. He is still sleeping in his truck - we are trying to help him raise $700 to cover the remainder of his first months rent. We will continue to employ him and work a renewal plan with him to ensure his continued success back to self sufficiency and independence. Help Now	Opportunity Home Graduation We are celebrating the graduation of a man from an Allos Opportunity Home. He came in homeless and addicted to heroin. He has been clean for 13 months and is on a salary as a restaurant manager. He was baptized and is growing in his faith everyday. He is graduating the program and moving into his own apartment on Aug 1st. We are hoping to raise and pay his first months rent to help ensure financial stability and long term success. Help Now	Transition to Independent Living We have a resident in an Allos Opportunity Home who is ready for independent living. Unfortunately he has a past rental debt preventing him from moving out of the home and into his own apartment. He owes $700 to a collection agency and the new landlord will not approve him to move in until he proves that this has been paid. We gave him a job at one of our restaurants and we are working with him to get to independent living. He was able to get a car to get to and from work and has been doing amazing!
