Single, homeless mother needs support to keep cell phone

I am working with a single mom who is currently homeless and very behind on bills. Due to behind payments her cell phone provider has been charging fees and she has not been able to keep up with the phone payments. She needs her phone to be able to continue applying for jobs and securing housing for her family. She is in need of $390.91 to catch up on her outstanding phone bill to keep it on. Single Mom Heading to School- Gas Cards Needed!

I have a 24-year-old single mother that has been in a CAP Agency housing program for a few years now.  She is a survivor of domestic violence that left her with a traumatic brain injury; her daughter has recently been going through evaluations for behavioral health, and she is struggling to keep her head up.  Over the summer she removed some toxic people from her life and spent some time reflecting and clearing her mind.  She decided that she really wants to be an esthetician. She started looking into schools and landed on one in Bloomington.  She applied for the school, filled out the FAFSA, and ultimately was accepted. She is on a VERY limited budget and is in need of some gas cards to get her going.  She is currently receiving MFIP benefits and will eventually get reimbursed for her mileage to and from school, but she needs to get to school first! Attendance at school is very important and this is a huge worry for her.  We are hoping to obtain a gas card for client to get her by until she can get any type of county reimbursement.  Her commute to and from school is 15 miles each way, and she will also need to pick up and drop off her daughter at daycare (a slight detour).   Requesting $200 in gas cards- but any amount would be extremely helpful.

Personal Hygiene and Basic Household Items Needed for Homeless Client

A client of mine is currently living in a shelter with no income except SNAP. Client is needing personal hygiene items, including soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, tooth brush, deodorant, and feminine hygiene products. Client has eczema and cannot use most of the personal hygiene items that are offered by the shelter. Client is working hard to get back on her feet although she is still struggling with severe depression, traumatic brain injury, and PTSD. Storage needed for Mom and 2 small children

car repairs

I am working with a parent who is taking care of their child who has very high medical needs. Due to the child’s needs, they have a lot of important appointments that can be challenging to get to. Gas card to get to work

This is a woman who has fought a long battle with addiction and mental health symptoms for years. Over the past year, she has made tremendous progress and now lives in stable housing, takes an active part in parenting her children, has full-time employment, purchased a car and was able to get her drivers license reinstated. Although her budget is tight she has managed to meet all of her needs and pay her bills on time. She recently missed work for a couple days due to a death in her her family. If she uses all of her paycheck to pay her bills on time she will not have enough to purchase enough gas to get to work. By utilizing the food shelf, she believes this gas card would be enough to help her stretch to cover the gap until her next pay check. If someone is able to assist with this need it would be greatly appreciated!

Mom reaching out for food and gas support

We have a mom who has had some financial struggles these past few years. Even working full time, she is finding it difficult in today's economy to get by. She has had to spend a huge amount of her pay towards getting her daughter ready for school. She reached out to see if she could get any donations for a $150 gift card to Cub food and a $50 gift card to Holiday for gas to get her through the week so that she can continue to go to work.
