Single mother of two in need of Air Conditioning

UPDATE: RECEIVED ONE AIR CONDITIONER - THANK YOU! STILL NEED ONE MORE: A single mother of two (a 5 month old and an 8 year old) has been able to rent an upstairs duplex. Unfortunately there is no central air and the apartment gets very hot. We are hoping to get 2 to 3 in window air conditioning units (new or gently used) to help them get through the sweltering summer months!

Passageways shelter is a non-profit that provides housing for homeless youth who

Passageways is in need of a new stove/range. The one we were using is in need of $661 in repairs and the technician stated that it would be less costly to purchase a new stove/range. The stove must be a 4-Prong 220 Volt. They said to be sure to watch for that when purchasing.

We are seeking individuals who are willing to take the time to support Safe Harb

I am emailing you all to inform you that we are in the process of seeking interested candidates who would like to be an advisory board member for our Safe Harbor ? Passageways program. The Safe Harbor ? Passageways program opened last September, 2014. Safe Harbor offers shelter, housing, supportive services and mental health services for youth victims of sex exploitation. Passageways is our shelter and housing program which is in the building formerly known as Safe Haven. This program is actively open and serving youth ? shelter side has 6 units ages 13-17 and the housing side has 5 units ages 18-24. We are seeking advisory members to support our staff and programs with outreach, education, advocacy, volunteer recruitment, fundraising, donation drives and so much more. If any of you, or someone you know within your school, work or community, is interested in an advisory member role, please let me know. We have scheduled our first meeting for Wednesday, June 17th from 5:00-6:00 pm at he River Valley YMCA (Conference Room).
