Clothing for Children

I am working with two middle-school siblings who are in need of school clothing. They live with their father, who is widowed, and disabled. He doesn't have a vehicle to take them to a store. The father would like to shop at Walmart, as he said Walmart would most likely carry the sizes of clothing that his children need. I am requesting gift cards for Walmart, for clothing for the two students. I also need either cash for Dial a Ride, or some Cub stores have Go To gift cards that can be used by Dial a Ride. Each person (father & two children) will require $9.00 per round trip to use Dial a Ride. (Gift cards have to be bought individually, so I would need three $9.00 gift cards, or $27.00 cash to get them a roundtrip fare from their Shakopee home to Walmart.)

Payment for Storage Unit

I am a School Social Worker, working with a Homeless mother and her school-aged daughter. They have experienced homelessness for several years, and are currently living in a sheltered but temporary environment. They have a storage locker with a past-due account, that is scheduled to be auctioned on Friday, October 5, in Savage. The mother states that any payment amount toward the $1,800.00 storage locker bill will result in her being able to keep the storage locker, and she will be able to make payments moving forward.

2nd UPDATE on March 15: Homeless mother and adolescent daughter are now in need of $939.00 for her first month's rent and security deposit. Mother just started a job and will get her first full paycheck at the end of this month, which will go towards Aprils rent due. The CAP Agency and two other agencies have committed money to this current debt but will pay only after the $939.00 has been paid.
