Payment for Storage Unit
I am a School Social Worker, working with a Homeless mother and her school-aged daughter. They have experienced homelessness for several years, and are currently living in a sheltered but temporary environment. They have a storage locker with a past-due account, that is scheduled to be auctioned on Friday, October 5, in Savage. The mother states that any payment amount toward the $1,800.00 storage locker bill will result in her being able to keep the storage locker, and she will be able to make payments moving forward.$0.00 of $1800.00

What caused this need?
Mother and her daughter have moved often in the last several years. She last paid the storage unit in June. Then in July she lost her job due to frequent threats from an abuser, and she had to take care of her mother who was hospitalized. She now receives some public assistance and has part time work, so will be able to make payments on the storage unit.
