When they leave work they would shower and switch back into street clothes. This procedure would provide greater safety, from the Corona virus, to nursing home residents, staff, and the general public. Two sets of scrubs, at a cost of 50.00 is needed for each staff person. The need is large. St. Gertrudes has a staff of 300. The total need is $15,000.00. But a donation of $50.00 will secure a set of scrubs for one staff member at St. Gertrudes Long Term Care Facility in Shakopee. Help Now	Service Dog needs medical care A local disabled veteran has an emergency with her dog. She states that, “Something is very seriously wrong with Sam, and I can't seem to get him into a veterinarian. I financially matter fact was turned away from an⁠ animal hospital yesterday because they were at capacity and that was at around 12:00”. The service dog (Sam) is urinating reddish brown and could be bleeding inside somewhere internally, or it could be an infection. This disabled vet lives on a very limited budget and can’t financially afford to have Sam seen. She is asking for $200 to help cover the cost of a visit to a local veterinarian. She also owns a beautiful McCaw and is running out of food for it. Any help with this situation would be greatly appreciated. Help Now	Snow Shoveling UPDATE: STILL NEEDED - An elderly person living in a mobile home neighborhood in Jordan has significant health problems and therefore is not able to keep up on maintenance of her home. Last winter she spent several weeks in a row at her home and couldn't leave because she was unable to shovel her driveway; she would wait until the snow melted to leave her house. In addition, the snow that accumulated by her front door caused damage to the door. This woman is in need of on going snow shoveling assistance this winter and if possible someone to look at her front door and see if it needs any repairs.
