Single mom – Needs everything for a home & her car broke down.

UPDATE - RECEIVED MANY ITEMS - THANK YOU! STILL NEEDS CAR REPAIR AND QUEEN BED FRAME, MATTRESS & BOX SPRINGS: Single mother finally got into her own house but she and her family only have their clothes, bedding, and pillows. They need everything for their kitchen - pots and pans, plates, cups, silverware, small appliances (blender, electric skillet, toaster, coffee pot, Insta-pot, etc..) Large garbage can. There is a need for living room furniture - couch or sectional. television, coffee table. Area rug - large size to "warm up" the room. The basement has a bonus family room and could use a small set of couches and a TV with a stand as well. Bedrooms - Bunkbed or two twin beds and mattresses. Mom needs a queen sized bed and each room could use a dresser. Shower curtain and two small garbage cans, one for each bathroom. Hand towels. Shower towels. There is room for a small dining room table with chairs. Gift cards for food or food donations would be great. Moms car broke down and the repair will cost between $900 - $1000. Mom's vehicle was used as her source of income. She does not have the money to get it repaired. She also has a need for a washer and dryer.

Car Repair Needed

I am reaching out to the county for help, I have been facing hardship for the last few months. I am a month behind on my house payments and utility bills, I have been looking for work everywhere I can, I am a single mother of a 17 year old girl. I do not receive child support, I did have someone move into the basement of the house a while back, but I did not receive any of the rent money since February, this arrangement had allowed me to work as a special ed para, but without the rent money, my salary was not able to cover all I needed to provide for my child. Because of the uncertainty of the covid lock down, it was difficult to find out if we would be going back to work or how to proceed. We survived on my savings but now, I don't know what else to do. To make matters worse, my car broke down two weeks ago, I finally had a local shop run a free diagnostic, they advised this morning, the water pump broke and needs immediate repair and transmission, is it not safe to drive it and would have to be towed back to my house if I can't get the repair done. This is been extremely difficult, it is affecting us terribly. I hope you can find a way to help me please. $696 needed to repair the water pump.

Urgent help needed

UPDATE**$700 of the $2000 has been collected! We are almost to the point of renting the U-HAUL! If you could pick up a quick McDonalds gift card the next time you're there for $10-$15 and donate for this family - even that would help tremendously! Thank you! Mother of three is ESCAPING from an extremely dangerous and volatile situation. She needs $900 for a U-HAUL rental to get to Maryland and $500 in gas cards for the U-HAUL and one other car that will be driving her kids. We are also asking for visa gift cards or fast food gift cards to help feed everyone along the way as a family member has stepped up to help drives the kids as mom drives the U-HAUL.

Family of 5 needs beds/large furniture

Family has received one twin so far, a second twin would be wonderful! Sectional Couch, 2 twin size beds, toddler size bed and mattress, coffee table, TV stand with storage, dining tables/chairs with seating for 6, drawers. Coffee pot & toaster. Living room rug. Transportation for larger items.

All household items needed – big and small

We are still in need of a bunk bed set with mattresses and a dining room set so the family can eat meals together. If you have large items to donate please help finding transportation. Thank you! So far we have received 1 TV, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee pot, a couch, pots and pans, and 2 dressers. We have the single twin coming today! We still need a queen size bed/mattress/frame and a bunk bed set for 2 boys. We also need cups, plates, bowls, and silverware. Washer and dryer. Cleaning products are needed as well. Television, television stand, queen size bed and bedding for mom, bunk beds for two boys as well as bedding and mattresses, twin size bed, mattress, and bedding for a girl, washer and dryer, living room and dining room furniture, dishes (cups, bowls, plates, and silverware) pots and pans, household cleaning supplies as well as kitchen appliances - she has none.

UPDATE: SEVERAL BEDS DONATED - THANK YOU! STILL NEEDS TWIN BED PLUS OTHER LISTED HOUSEHOLD ITEMS: Twin size beds or 2 sets of bunk beds along with mattresses and bedding. 1 Queen or Full size bed for mom including frame, mattress, and bedding. Bassinet or crib as mom is expecting. Pillows for all beds requested. Living room and dining room furniture, dishes and cups, a microwave, 1-2 TVs if able, paper products such as plates, cups, and plastic ware for ease. A washer and dryer set. A garbage can for the kitchen, a broom and dust pan, iron and/or ironing board, water container for fridge. A smaller table or desk for the kids rooms for homework, etc. The most urgent need is for a bike for mom to get to the bus stop daily so she can keep her job and for food to fill the fridge and pantry. Mom works 8-5 daily and rides the bus so she is having a difficult time getting to the food pantry.
