We had these 2 needs come in last week: Client is seeking a new couch for his rental. He has been couch-hopping/doubled up for a significant amount of time and has finally secured housing alongside a subsidy. His income is extremely limited has no other way to get a new couch on his budget. He is concerned about taking in a free or used couch due to the risk of bed bugs. The second need is this:
I am working with a single mom of a 7-month-old little girl. This mom is moving into her own place from treatment, she has been doing so well. I am hoping to help her get a jump on obtaining household items for their new apartment. She has nothing as far as big items go. She is in need of the following.
One bed (queen or king)
Crib mattress
End tables
Couch
Kitchen table
Chairs
Cleaning supplies
Kitchen items
Bathroom items
Linens
Etc.
