What is needed:
A local mom and her 5th-grade son are currently experiencing homelessness and staying in a hotel while actively searching for stable housing. The family moved to Minnesota this year and does not have family or a local support system in the area. While she is working closely with local agencies, including the CAP Agency in Scott County, to access housing resources and get on waitlists, their current hotel reservation ends on Monday, May 19. Without immediate assistance, they will have nowhere to go. We are seeking to raise $1,332.55 to extend their hotel stay through June 2, providing them with safe, temporary shelter while long-term supports are being secured. Any contribution toward this urgent need is greatly appreciated and will go directly toward covering the cost of their stay.

We’re working with a mom, dad, and baby who have been living in a hotel for over a year. They just recently obtained housing and could use living room furniture, household items, kitchen items (pots, pans, plates, cups, silverware, etc.…) Thanks in advance for your consideration in donating.

A client of ours was recently diagnosed with MS. During the process of figuring that out, he lost his job. After starting treatment, he secured a position as a service manager at an auto shop, but a month in, he fell due to his condition, suffered a serious head injury, and is now out of work while undergoing the necessary therapy. Until now, he has been able to stay current on his bills, but this month he has fallen behind and is struggling to cover rent, groceries, and gas. He is in the process of applying for assistance but needs immediate support to get through this transition.
