Request for Support for a Family in Crisis
A local mom and her 5th-grade son are currently experiencing homelessness and staying in a hotel while actively searching for stable housing. The family moved to Minnesota this year and does not have family or a local support system in the area. While she is working closely with local agencies, including the CAP Agency in Scott County, to access housing resources and get on waitlists, their current hotel reservation ends on Monday, May 19. Without immediate assistance, they will have nowhere to go. We are seeking to raise $1,332.55 to extend their hotel stay through June 2, providing them with safe, temporary shelter while long-term supports are being secured. Any contribution toward this urgent need is greatly appreciated and will go directly toward covering the cost of their stay.$1332.55 of $1332.55
