The spouse of a veteran and their two children will be homeless at the end of July. She is in need of storage for her belongings until she obtains permanent housing. The storage unit that will work for her needs costs $52.00 per month with a $50.00 refundable deposit. Unfortunately, she is also in need of housing as well. Families Moving Forward was unable to accept her and her children because her situation stems from a domestic assault. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. All county options have been exhausted and she has nowhere else to turn.

Update: Still needs help with this utility bill. A single mother with one child (who has a developmental disability) and due with 2nd child next month has been consistently getting behind on her electric bill and the children's father has left the household and is not providing any financial support for her or the children. She currently has a balance of 1500.00 for which XCEL has now turned off her electricity unless she can pay at least $1,230.89. She received help from Energy Assistance last year in November so does not qualify at this time. She has also been using the food shelf as well but is not able to get foods that her son with the disability will eat there so CUB or Target gift card for food would also be appreciated.
