A single mother is in need of financial support and/or school supplies and clothes for her adopted teen son. She would appreciate gift cards or money. She would shop at Walmart for school supplies and either Target or Unique Thrift Store for school clothes. Son is approximately 5' 8" and quite thin.

What caused this need?

This teen attended a day treatment program last school year. A team decision was made yesterday that this teen would start this school year in the Jordan Public Schools on 08/25/14. Mom was not anticipating this and did not set aside any money for school supplies or clothes for him. His school supplies were provided at the day treatment program and he stated he did not care how he looked there. He has grown considerably taller over the summer and has only one pair of pants that fit. He is concerned about what other students will say about him. Mom works part time due to a medical condition and receives limited child support to help pay for his needs.
