This November, FISH is hoping to bring QPR Suicide Prevention Training to our community partners as we head into the holiday season.
The holidays can be an especially difficult time for individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, loneliness, grief, housing instability, mental health challenges, and other difficult circumstances. Many of our partners work directly with people during some of their hardest moments, and we want to help make sure they feel equipped to recognize when someone may be struggling and know how to respond.
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, Refer and teaches participants how to recognize warning signs of suicide, start a conversation, and connect someone with appropriate support.
The training itself costs approximately $1,000, and we are looking for community partners who would be interested in helping sponsor this important opportunity.
Interested in sponsoring the training?
You can make a sponsorship contribution directly through our secure PayPal link below:

Sponsors will be recognized by FISH for their support in helping bring suicide prevention education and awareness to our community.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss the training or sponsorship, please feel free to reach out.
Thank you for helping us continue to build a community that knows how to show up for one another, especially during the times people may need it most.
