Happy Monday FISH Family! This need was posted by SCA for one of their volunteers last week. Today, FISH will match all donations that come in for this need so we can help this individual get their car working again.
Here is the need:
One of our volunteers at SCA (Shakopee Community Assistance) had car trouble and paid out $1600 for repairs. The car barely made it home, engine and transmission are both unrepairable, this amount was her total savings. Our volunteer is in her 70’s, single and living on an extremely low income. She has been a dedicated volunteer at our site two days a week for the last few years and never asked for assistance for anything. Your consideration deeply appreciated.
