We hope you’re all enjoying this beautiful weather!
This week, we have a few ongoing needs that have already received some support — thank you! Now we’d love your help to close them out completely.
Please see the list of remaining items below. Every contribution makes a difference, and we’re so grateful for your continued generosity.
Thank you so much for your support!
First need:
“I am helping a gentleman in the community with his electric bill in the amount of $147.70. He is trying to find employment at this time, to help with finances, and he is also needing to pay towards his rent, and get other basic needs such as groceries. The utility bill has increase a lot of his stress, and he asked me for help to reach out to community partners. This gentleman has not received a fish request in the past, and can benefit from all the help provided.
Once he gets employment, he should feel more comfortable with his finances in the future.

Second need:
I am posting this need to request support on behalf of a single mother in the Savage community who is currently facing a difficult plumbing situation. She is experiencing urgent plumbing issues in her home which are affecting the safety and livability of her environment. This unexpected expense has created a significant financial burden for the mother. We are hoping to raise $585 to help reimburse her for the necessary plumbing repairs. Any contribution will make a meaningful difference and help ease some of the pressure she is facing.
Thank you for considering this request!

Third need:
I am working with a person who is parenting her children on her own, and she is in the process of opening/starting her own business. While doing this, she is also pursuing part-time employment outside of her business to help with finances. Consistent employment and finances have been a challenge for her for a couple of years and she is hoping that by starting her own business this will provide her with a steady and consistent income in a field that she is very passionate about. There are a lot of startup expenses, and she has to apply for a salon license which will cost $350. Any help with this license fee would be very helpful to her. Thank you for considering.
