The third need: “I am working with a single parent. Mom was recently injured while at work and because of this has been out of work for a couple of weeks. She is getting some income while she is out, but it’s not the full amount she would be receiving if she were able to work. She is worried about rent for March and will be short about $661 (she is able to cover more than half on her own). She is hopeful to be able to return to work soon and be back on track financially in April. Her children could also benefit from games/board games and arts/crafts, so they have a positive outlet. Their behavior seems to be better when they have an activity to participate in/focus on.
