Damascus Way is opening their new house in Shakopee and is needing help with their kitchen. This is a great opportunity for a group to work together and help the people that will be staying there as they rebuild their lives. This project would include creating a fully functional kitchen including cookware, plates, silverware, glasses, kitchen towels etc. If you like being a blessing and setting up kitchens this is your dream project! Damascus Way employs an evidenced-based, Gospel-centered approach which guides participants toward a path of purpose and productivity, as they return to their communities. We believe that Gospel- centered values – exhibited by the life of Jesus Christ – such as love, forgiveness, and reconciliation, are universally applicable and contribute to reducing recidivism, and the full integration of returning citizens into the lives of their families and communities.
