Here is a need that came in today: “I am working with a single mother of 3 children, ages infant, 3, and 7. The mother is currently working and just obtained stable housing which is a huge success for her. This request is for financial help to enroll 2 of her children in extracurricular activities. The 7-year-old would like to patriciate in softball, dance, and yoga. The 3-year-old would like to patriciate in dance and t-ball. The financial support to help get these children into the community to build their social skills would greatly benefit them and provide some respite for this mom. I am working with this mother on a financial budget, which would include future activity costs for her children.”
