Hello everyone!

Today to we received 2 needs about possible evictions that we wanted to highlight!

The first need: With the help of her case manager she has been actively job searching unfortunately nothing that she is able to do has become available as of now. She is going to continue actively searching and is extremely hopeful that with the holidays coming up she will find a job very soon. She has an outstanding balance of $104.83 owed immediately to her apartment building . They will not accept a rent payment going forward until this balance is paid in full.

The second need: The client lives on a fixed income, experienced a vehicle breakdown, had the expense of emergency car repairs. The client has pursued rental assistance and currently the agencies are out of funding. The client’s property manager has let him know that they will expect him to move if he cannot provide a payment date. The client was able to repair his vehicle and expects to be able to resume rent payments using his fixed income but would face further hardship, possible eviction if he does not find help for the Octobers rent portion.$496.00 is needed for late October rent.

One last need we wanted to showcase was this sweet need for a family looking for someone to foster their pets temporarily:

Temporary foster care of a 7-year-old wiener dog and a 10-gallon fish tank with a small turtle, fish, and snail.
A $100 gift card for a pet store, or check to go toward dog food and food for the animals in the tank.

Description from the family: The dog is male and is 7 years old. He isn’t fixed. He is completely potty trained. He is nervous around other animals at first but once he has been around them a little he has gotten along with every other animal he has lived with. I don’t have any pictures of the fish and snail but they are both very small and in the same tank as the turtle.
