What is needed:
I am working with a formerly homeless single mother who is working very hard to regain stability. Her therapist has recommended that she get an emotional support pet to help her cope with the symptoms of her mental health diagnoses. This client has secured a kitten that she and her son have fallen in love with and just need a little support getting started. She has purchased some basics but could use some additional items as money is tight right now after recently losing her job due to COVID-19 and being ineligible for unemployment. We are requesting donations of scoopable/clumping cat litter, kitten kibble, soft canned food, play toys for interacting with the pet, scratch pad and any other donations that would seem appropriate to welcome home a kitten. All donations can be arranged for drop off at the CAP agency. Thank you so much!
