We are excited to grow this movement in 2021 and it takes community groups FISH to spread the word and gain momentum! I have attached our presentation slides and our February 23rd Community Circles flyer to this email and below are the ways the FISH network can support our work.

How To Support Together WE CAN:

Parental Resiliency and Education

      • Focuses on services and programs aimed at helping parents develop skills in managing stress and functioning well when faced with challenges, adversity and trauma. Strategies are rooted in two-generation approaches, with the underlying belief that children and families do better when parents do better.
      • Current Strategy: Community Circles

Concrete Supports for Mental and Chemical Health

      • Focuses on services and programs that increase access to concrete support and services that address a family’s needs and help minimize stress caused by challenges.
      • Current Strategy: Peer Recovery Support Services (PRSS)

Whole Family Systems

      • Focuses equally and intentionally on services and opportunities for the child and the adults in their lives. Strategies support emotional and economic stability for families across Scott County.
      • Current Strategy: Family Resource Centers

  • Participate in a monthly Community Circle event! Every 4th Tuesday 6:00-7:30PM.
