It has been a while since I have sent an email update so I wanted to let you know what we are up to! The Savage-Prior Lake TreeHouse is back to in-person support group with covid safety measures in place, masks, social distancing, etc. We have grown over the past months to 31 students enrolled and an average attendance weekly 13-17! I’m not sure what we would do if they all came on the same night since we are hurting for volunteers. We are currently using both vans for pickup in Prior Lake, Savage and Shakopee!
Goals for 2021! Our #1 goal is to have all our students in the program to have a one-on-one mentor, #2 is to have family and friends helping with meals…our greatest expense at the moment! Consider partnering with us to become a TreeHouse Meal Partner! I have attached the sign up sheet if interested. Please spread the word….we are NOW serving about 25 weekly, students and volunteers! We also need volunteers as we grow into a 2nd evening weekly in mid-March. We will need small group leaders and mentors! If interested, please reach out to me for more information, all training is provided. Also, if you are in need of information brochures, please let me know and I can drop some off! We are so very thankful to Bridgewood Church in Savage as they partner with us to provide their facility and I have an office on site also! It has been such a blessing!
Lastly, we are hosting our first TreeHouse fundraiser on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 7th! We will be offering a Sub-Sandwich Drive Thru at Bridgewood Church, 12 – 2 pm! You can order a 6 inch sub or two for a $10 donation with all the fixings, all with the convenience of drive-thru pickup! ! Our order form will be available soon to select your meats, cheese, and all the fixings! Pre-order and pre-pay will be available beginning Monday, Jan. 25th with pick up on the 7th!
