What is needed:
One of the men in our program has been doing amazing. He’s a highly skilled tradesman who’s been able to earn a living through side jobs as a handyman. His work ethic and talent have opened the door to something more—and we want to help him take the next step. We’re currently working alongside him to form an official business so he can pursue steady work, build a career, and support himself long-term. The only thing standing in the way is the cost of the contractor’s license class and exam: $560 Would you consider helping cover this cost and invest in his future? Every gift makes a difference!

What is needed:
We’re reaching out to support a young woman in our community who is working hard to build a stable life after enduring tremendous loss. At just 19 years old, she has faced more than most. Earlier this year, her father tragically passed away in a car accident in Las Vegas. Prior to that, he had been struggling with mental health challenges and moved away, leaving Kiana in Minnesota under the care of others. Her mother is unable to be in her life due to addiction. Despite these hardships, she has shown incredible resilience. She works at a coffee shop and has been riding her bike to work from Prior Lake. This would have been her first car—her grandfather and uncle bought it for her—but sadly, the transmission broke down just one month after she started driving it. We are hoping to help her find a dependable vehicle so she can continue to work and move toward a more secure future. If you or someone you know can donate a reliable car or help toward one, it would truly be life-changing. Thank you for showing up for those who need a little extra support. What Created the need:
Darci is a 40 year old woman living with her family in Scott County. Darci has a brain injury and is living in constant pain due to a car accident she was involved in several years ago. Darci has attempted to work, but with her pain it’s increasingly difficult to do so, forcing her to stay home. Darci prides herself on being as independent as she possibly can be; right now she relies on her family and staff for transportation. Due to her location in Scott County, public transportation is very hard to come by so she relies on family and staff to get around. Unfortunately, family and staff are not always around which causes Darci to be stuck at home. Darci does have her license and she does have a vehicle that she was gifted, but it needs some work as there is no heat or air in her car; this poses a problem because she cannot always drive with her windows down in the Minnesota weather (extreme heat in the summer or extreme cold in the winter) because it’s not safe. The following parts or gift card towards these parts would help Darci get the items needed for her vehicle so she can get to and from her destinations safely

We’re helping an individual close out their storage unit so they can officially move forward and close their account. They no longer need storage but they are locked out. We need $555 to cover the final storage payment so everything can be removed and transitioned.
