As we head into Labor Day weekend, we’re celebrating the hard work happening in our community! This Friday’s needs include a car repair for a senior working toward extra income, work clothes for a man starting a new job, and basketball fees for a boy starting at a new school. - A senior in our community is rebuilding after an unexpected divorce and plans to supplement her income by driving for Uber. Her driver’s seat is currently stuck in a reclined position, making it difficult and unsafe for her to drive and begin earning additional income. $250 is needed to repair the seat and help her safely get back on the road!
- A man who recently experienced homelessness has graduated from treatment, is living in transitional housing, and just landed a great new job as he continues working toward stability and independence. Before he starts, he needs work clothes and shoes so he can walk into this new opportunity prepared and confident. $250 is needed to help him get ready for his first day!

- A mother who is newly sober is working hard on her recovery and searching for a job while helping her children adjust to a new school. Her son would love to join the basketball team, giving him a great opportunity to make friends, get involved, and feel connected in his new community. $590 is needed to cover the cost of the basketball program and help give him this opportunity!
