We received this need yesterday: I am working with a family who regularly has a very tight budget. Both parents are employed, however, one is unemployed during the winter months and their finances are significantly less during this time of the year. Parent is looking to have their teenager complete driver’s education/behind the wheel, but do not have the funds for this currently. The cost of both is $450. The family would also like to be able to eat at a table together and currently they do not have one big enough that will seat all of them together or enough chairs. They are looking for a kitchen table with 4 (or more) chairs. They would prefer a table that is not tall and not round as those wouldn’t work well in the limited space they have. Any help towards this need would be greatly appreciated.

The second need that came in a couple days ago is this: I am working with a family who has a very tight budget. There are developmental concerns for some of the children which has impacted many areas of their lives, one being potty training. Due to potty training challenges the children often need clothing changes. The children have clothes but would really benefit from having more available because of the accidents. The family is open to supports and resources and we are working to connect them. However, at this time, this situation is impacting several areas of the family’s lives and they would be so grateful for the support. Thank you for considering. Kids clothing (socks, underwear, pants, and shirts), and kids tennis shoes. Size 6/7 or 7/8 youth boys clothing, toddler 5-6T or youth small boys clothing, 5-6T boy clothing, and 18-24 month or 2T girls clothing. Shoe size 11 boys, shoe size 10 boys, shoe size 10 boys, 5T girls shoes.
