As we are all working together do our part in keeping our community safe and healthy, FISH would like to be able to keep our network updated on services being offered and if you have needs that can be met to help facilitate your outreach. Hola – The CAP Agency has partnered with the Shakopee Public Library for the Dia de los Muertos Celebration activity! We have partnered for a night of the beloved animated book of COCO. The 2017 Disney Pixar movie is a musical extravaganza about a boy who journeys into the Land of the Dead to seek forgiveness from his ancestors and lift a curse.
The library will be providing some MELSA- activities and supplies for the kids and parents to do during the event, such as, fiesta flower craft, day of the dead luminary bags, and color your own fuzzy day of the dad poster.
Each kid will also receive a take home baggie with a book to keep, a snack, bubbles, playdough, and some other activities. Please see the link below:
