Here is a need that came through yesterday for a newly sober mom of a young child:
I am currently working with a client who has been working hard on maintaining sobriety – she is actively participating in services to support the
sobriety as well as parenting a toddler. In addition to those services, she also has a support person to care for her child and mom drives child to and from that child care which is about 30 miles each way. Mom is having issues with her vehicle and needs to replace 2 tires as well as her brakes and is unable to pay for those services at this time. I am requesting approximately $400 to assist in getting this work done.
