Happy Friday!
Here is a need we recently received that I would like to circulate again. They are open to new and used snow gear for children!
Snowpants and Winter boots
Our elementary school, Hidden Valley Elementary in Savage is seeing a great need for snowpants and winter boots for some of our students. Our families are hard working and despite this 75% of our families still live underneath the poverty line. This makes accessing additional clothing items like snowpants and boots an added expense that does not fit in many budgets, especially with inflation right now. Students who do not have snowpants and boots are unable to access snow play and our playground (for risk of getting all wet, uncomfortable, sick, etc.). We are in need of small sizes: small 5- 10/12 at this time Boot sizes child 13- Youth 6
OFFER HELP
Reach out to Megan from the school or FISH if you have any snow gear you could donate.

The Prior Lake Rotary Club will provide 60 needy families in the Prior Lake Savage Area School district and families in Shakopee with a “Food Basket” that will be sufficient for a family of 4 with two meals, one with chicken and another with pasta. This is the 3rd time they are doing this. They will deliver this food basket on December 10th.
